"intention": "Brief: a frozen brook carrying the eye through space toward a ruined choir, with a small walker, so that near snow, distant ruin and human scale bear on one another rather than sit as symbols of melancholy. Painter (INTENT-v2, ledger d:2): the distance between walker and ruin is the subject, now on one ground plane; the brook is ice its whole length with a narrow open lead closed where the walker crosses, goes away narrowing and turns up to end in the ice sheet that holds the ruin's reflection; one overcast light from the left on stone and walker, shadows to the right; a track brings the eye in from the bottom edge; warm walker, ruin and reeds against the cold. P3's standing objections. (1) T5 / A4, scale on one ground plane: ANSWERED. Measured on d-002-2400: horizon y 0.444; walker 0.589-0.653 (0.064 tall), feet 0.208 below the horizon; ruin base y 0.519, 0.075 below the horizon, so the ruin stands about 2.8 walker-distances away, where a person would be about 0.023 of the frame tall; the gable (tip y about 0.302, base 0.519, 0.217 tall) is then about 9.5 walker-heights, a stone face of some 16-17 m. The near snow, the track, the walker and the ruin's base now share one perspective; the ruin stands on the snow in front of the horizon, not on it. (2) T4#1, remaining half (the ice sheet under the reflection had the snow's value and no edge): ANSWERED, with a residue. The sheet is now a darker oval (L69.9 against the snow beside it at L72.9) with a visible rim on its left and upper side where the brook's tip enters it (x 0.67-0.76, y 0.52-0.59); the reflection sits in it, darker than the stone (75.8 against 80.7). Residue, not a failure: the sheet's lower rim has no edge (69.9 against 70.6 below it), so the sheet reads as a soft stain on its far side. Frozen-ness now exists as substance along the whole brook (grey mottled ice L about 53, lead L down to 28).",
